For the second year in a row we have the Trinity exam around the corner.

It will be on June the 5th.

 Our students have been practising for the last 2 years so we know they are ready to pass it with excellence.

On April 23rd we celebrate The Book Day and at the school we participate in workshops based on a book or in a special author.

This year we read and work on a very special book:

 

we read the story, we made finger puppets,we worked on activities about the book, we learned and sang the Gruffalo song and the 3rd graders played a puppets play for us.

A visit to the zoo

The 2º graders went today to the zoo.We had a fabulous day. We saw the animals exhibitions, the Panda bears eating bambu, and the newborn baby elephant. It was amazing!!!!

Digestive system

THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

The job of your digestive system is to break down the food  that you eat into small molecules. These molecules give you energy,make you grow and make your body work well.

It starts in the Mouth,

the food goes down through the Esophagus,

   to the stomach and then to  

 the small and large intestine where the food and water is absorbed;  finally

it ends at the rectum or at the anus where the food waste goes out of the body.

Our muscles

OUR MUSCLES

We have more than 600 hundred muscles in our body. 

Muscles help us move pulling the bones.

Muscles are elastic and flexibles;they contract and relax.

Biceps,Deltoids and Quadriceps are some of our muscles.

September has arrived and we want to welcome our students,their families and the new teachers to this school year. Be ready, because we will work really hard,but we will also have fun and we will learn a lot.

Musical Instruments

To finish the school year, our first and second graders made musical instruments in Arts&Crafts with Ruth and the teacher Ana. They say it was great and fun but very noisy!!!!!Have a look to the pictures.
